The 6.1.2.0 release included the following:

Contracts

A new preference has been added to Contracts to control whether or not the Contract is treated as ACTIVE beyond the Expiry Date of the Contract.

This new preference is required to allow for circumstances where Contract Start and End Dates need to be recorded for Contract or Payment Purposes but it’s important that the PPMs and Tasks associated with the Contract should not be stopped or paused when the Contract expires.

The following filtering and logic has been applied to the Cost Centre field in the hyper-linked pages to the right:

  • Cost Centres that have a Historic or Suspended state are excluded from the field

  • In addition to any Contract View restrictions applied to Cost Centres for the Contract related to the entity, this field may be additionally filtered to show only those Cost Centres that have been assigned to the related Building

  • If a Cost Centre that's assigned to the related Building is set as the default for the Building it will be set automatically in this Cost Centre auto-complete

New fields have been added to Location Types:

  • Code - An optional field to store a Code for the Location Type

  • Classification - An optional field to select a Classification for the Location Type. Classifications are created as part of a BIM model import

The Locations input panel has been updated as follows:

  • The Cost Centre field has been moved from the General tab to new position in the Charges section of the Other tab

  • A new field for Space Function has been added to replace the moved Cost Centre field

  • A new Ceiling Height field has been added to the BIM/GIS section of the Other tab

A Copy function has been added to the Roles entity and input panel to make it possible for an MRI Evolution User to Copy all of the details and configuration of a Role.

All Role configuration information will be copied with the exception of the assignment of Roles to Accounts.

Space Functions

A new system Entity called Space Functions has been added.

Space Functions are a way of classifying the Space entities of a BIM model.

Examples of Space Function classifications could be kitchen, living room, foyer, meeting room, breakout area and so on.

Location records can have a Space Function defined against them.

Supply Chain Survey Templates A Survey Responses tab has been added to the Supply Chain Survey Templates grid. The grid contains all records related to Supply Chain Survey responses, allowing users to open them directly, without needing to open the entity records and then view the Survey Responses. System Message Tray

A new System Preference has been added to control the number of days worth of Messages in the Message Tray.

The preference defines the number of days a message will be visible for in the Message Tray.

The created date of the message is used to control the visibility. Messages with a created date older than the defined number of days will not be displayed in the Message Tray.

Some explanatory text has been added to the bottom of the Message popup, showing the current number of days stored in the System Preference.

Task Actions Cost Coding

The logic below has been added to the Estimated Labour, Materials and Plant Cost fields of the Task Actions Cost Coding input panel.

If the Task Preference for ‘Enable Advanced Costs & Distribution for Task & PPM Actions’ is set to True and:

  • the Cost Calculation type for the parent Task Action is set to 'Distribute from Task Estimates':
    • The fields will be auto-populated with the appropriate remaining Estimated balance(s) from the parent Task Action

  • the Cost Calculation type for the parent Task Action is set to 'Add to Task Estimates':

    • The fields will be auto-populated with the Estimated value(s) of the Instruction Set selected in the Action field from the parent Task Action

Widget Pages To improve the usability of the Pages design function, the Widget place holders have been updated to include the Widget's Description and it's Widget Template. Widget Pages
