Advanced Helpdesk

The Advanced Helpdesk has been updated as follows:

  • A new Calendar sub navigation has been added

    • The Calendar sub navigation contains an 'Outlook-like' calender representation of the entities associated with the current Task, as coloured blocks of time

      • The colour of the blocks denote the activity or entity

      • The blocks have contrasting colours down one side to denote the status of the entity

    • The Calendar plan can be filtered to display or hide the following entities related to the Task:

      • Events

      • SLA Targets

      • Time Records

      • Appointment Visits

    • The entities above can be added and edited directly in the Calendar plan using toolbar buttons or the mouse to highlight an area and right-click context sensitive menus

  • Updates to the sub navigation items:

    • A new Navigator Group for Paymech

    • Move certain existing Navigator Items to different Navigator Groups (Financials, Audits and Surveys, Paymech)

    • The Schedule Of Rates sub navigation will be hidden if the Contract associated with the Task has no Schedule Of Rate Items defined with a non-Historic status

  • Schedule Of Rates input panel fields are controlled by new preferences:

    • Task Category

    • Task Discipline

    • Location Type

  • The User Preferences page opened from the Advanced Helpdesk now includes the User Defined tab

Agora Controllers

Agora Controllers are entities that are used to manage the configuration of MRI Evolution in relation to the Agora Event Hub and the integration with other MRI systems.

Agora Controllers are where you register the specific applications and environments that will be exchanging information via the Event Hub. An Agora Controller is a combination of Product, Client Id, Tenant and Environment. All of those combine to identify a unique source/destination when information is exchanged.

Note: It is very important that users do not create, edit or import data files via Agora Controller records without guidance from MRI staff. An existing Event Hub integration will be endangered by users making changes without the required information.

Agora Dead Letters

Agora Dead Letters are created as a result of Event Hub messages that the messaging system cannot or should not deliver.

There are a number of reasons why the message cannot be delivered, such as system validation, incorrectly formatted messages, messages having been read and rejected too many times and so on.

Note: It is very important that users do not action Agora Dead Letter records without guidance from MRI staff. An existing Event Hub integration will be endangered by users making changes without the required information.

Agora Events are entities that are used to manage the configuration of MRI Evolution in relation to the Agora Event Hub and the integration with other MRI systems.

In simple terms, the Agora Events provide an audit trail of the exchange of data between integrated MRI systems via the Agora Event Hub.

Asset Preferences

A new system preference has been added that will be used to control whether an Asset's Description field should be set automatically in the Asset Input Panel when creating a new Asset.

The options available are as follows:

  • None

  • Use Classification Name - Option only available when Asset Classifications module is licenced

  • Use Asset Tag - This is the default value and will be set for upgrading clients and new installs

  • Use Asset Type

Assets has been updated as follows:

  • The Description field may auto-populate with a value, or not, depending on what has been set in the Asset Preferences page. The default remains to auto-populate with the description of the selected Asset Tag. If a value is auto-populated in the field it can be manually altered by users.

Buildings has been updated as follows:

  • A Delete button and associated functionality has been added to the Floors sub navigation of the Building input panel

  • New Default Contract feature, this is only relevant to Tasks created through MRI Evolution Web Services using the Triage Contract Process Flow For Saving Tasks. When the triage determines that, based on the selected Instruction Set and Category, more than one Contract is available, the Default Contract will be used for the new Task

  • A new navigator link to open the Buildings grid has been added to the Facilities navigator group in between the existing links for Assets and BIM Manager. This is in addition to the existing Facilities > Property & Estates > Buildings link

  • A new Client field has been added allowing users to select the Client the Contact is associated with

  • A new 'Triage Only' Contract Type has been added. It will be used to identify Tasks that originate outside of MRI Evolution, created via Web Services using the Triage Contract method

  • A new Default Level Of Completion field added. The value selected will be used to set the Level Of Completion for any new Tasks in a Contract, the default can be overridden

  • A new 'Triage Contract' Task save method has been added, the system will attempt to determine an appropriate Service Contract for a Task originating from an external system, via Web Services, passing a Contract defined as Triage Only. In the instance where a single Contract for the Task cannot be derived by the system, users will have to manually update the Task's Contract to the appropriate value

  • The Messages modal popup provides a summary view of a User's Messages where they can manage them without the need to open the main Message grid

  • Colourisation for Medium priority messages has been added

  • View Source Support has been added for Messages with URL Message Types

  • Messages can now have an expiry date/time

  • Stock Grid:

    • The Delete toolbar button has been replaced with a status change button group

      • Users will be prompted to add comments to support any state changes

      • The state change and any added comments will be stored as Events against the current Stock Item. Events must be enabled for FSTOCK in Table Register to see them

  • Stock Input Panel

    • A status change button group has been added to the toolbar

      • Users will be prompted to add comments to support any state changes

      • The state change and any added comments will be stored as Events against the current Stock Item. Events must be enabled for FSTOCK in Table Register to see them

    • A current state indicator has been added to the page header

    • A Copy toolbar button and functionality has been added. Clicking it will change the page to 'Copy Mode'. Values from the original Stock Item will be automatically populated in the copy Stock Item with the exception certain fields

    • A Print toolbar button has been added. Clicking it will open a new report ST-001 passing the current Stock Item as a parameter

    • Certain unused legacy Stock fields have been re-commissioned and can be added to grids or used in queries and reports:

      • STK_ON_ORDER

      • STK_ORDER_DATE

      • STK_TIMES_ORDERED

      • STK_TOT_QTY_ORDERED

      • STK_LAST_USED

      • STK_ISSUE_PRICE

    • The layout and flow of the page has been improved by grouping related fields more logically

    • New fields added to the page:

      • Colour

    • The Written Off field has been removed. It was a legacy Concept 500 field and has not been in use for years

    • A new Stock Adjustments sub navigation has been added to the Stock input panel. The sub navigation contains a grid of Stock Adjustment records related to the current Stock Item

Stock Issues have been updated as follows:

  • Stock Issues Header Input Panel:

    • A quantity of Stock can be Issued that spans multiple Batches of a Stock Item, the per batch transactions will be created automatically. Previously, Stock Items would have to be Issued on a Batch by Batch basis

    • A status change button group has been added to the toolbar

      • Users will be prompted to add comments to support any state changes

      • The state change and any added comments will be stored as Events against the current Stock Item. Events must be enabled for F_STK_TRNS_HEAD in Table Register to see them

      • Changing the state to Approved will set the following:

        • Approval Date

        • Approved By

      • Changing the state to Issued will set the following:

        • Collection Date

        • Issued By

    • A current state indicator has been added to the page header

    • The page has been organised into two tabs:

      • Request

        • New and updated fields added

      • Details

        • New and updated fields added

    • In order to prevent Issued Stock being returned prematurely, the Stock Returns sub navigation will be hidden whenever the Stock Issue is in one of the following states:

      • Requested

      • Awaiting Approval

      • Approved

    • The restriction related to only showing Tasks in the Task ID field list that have an associated Cost Centre and Cost Code has been removed

  • Stock Issue Item Input Panel:

    • The label of the ‘Free’ field has been changed to ‘Stock Level’

      • This change was needed as the field is actually bound to FSTOCK.STK_IN_STOCK rather than the FSTOCK.IN_FREE_STOCK field

    • The 'Current Batch Qty' field has been replaced with a field showing the FSTOCK.STK_FREE_STOCK
