Stores Register

Each Item of Stock that is ordered for any Building can be recorded in the Stores Register. The Stores Register keeps track of the Locations of each Item and the quantity of that Item in that Location. It also keeps track of re-ordering information, such as the name of the manufacturer, the model type, bar code, quantity to be requested when an order is raised and the minimum level of Stock that can be reached before a new order is required.

The link will open the Stores grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

A change status toolbar button group has been added to the grid :

• Active

• Suspended

• History

Select a record in the grid and click the appropriate status button in the dropdown to change the status. The status change is dependant on the current status of the selected record and possibly any outstanding Stock Transactions, when trying to change to History.

To add a new Item of Stock click New , to edit an existing Stock Item click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Stock Item.

Current State Indicator

A status indicator has been added to the Stock input panel to show the current State of the Stock Item.

	Stock Detail
Description	Enter a description of the Stock Item.
Part Code	The part code of the Stock Item.
UPC	Available from 6.0.1.0 Enter the Universal Product Code for the Stock Item.
Barcode	Enter the barcode of the Stock Item.
SKU	Available from 6.0.1.0 Enter the Stock Keeping Unit Code for the Stock Item.
Group	From the drop down select the Stock Group of the Stock Item.
Class	From the drop down select the Stock Class.
Manufacturer	Enter the manufacturer of the Stock Item.
Model	Enter the model number of the Stock Item.
Colour	Available from 6.0.1.0 Enter the colour of the Stock Item in order to differentiate it from other Stock Items.
Expiry Date	Enter the expiry date of the Stock Item.
	Stock Location
Building	From the drop down select the Building relevant to the Stock Item's Location.
Site	Available from 6.0.1.0 Read only field populated by the selected Building.
Location	From the drop down select the Stock Location - filtered by the Building and the access granted to the current User Account.
Location Type	Available from 6.0.1.0 Read only field populated by the selected Location's Location Type.
Bin	Enter the bin number where the Stock is held e.g. Isle A, bin 1.
Mobile Location	Available from 6.0.1.0 Read only field populated by the selected Location's Mobile Location checkbox. The value displayed will be either Yes or No.
	Stock Levels, Price and Reorder Details
Units	Enter the Unit Type that the Stock is ordered in e.g. box or packet.
Unit Price	Enter the price of the Stock Item, if using the FIFO module this cannot be altered once saved.
Minimum Held	Enter the minimum number of Stock Items to be held before an order should be placed.
Reorder Qty	Enter the minimum number of Stock that can be ordered when an order is placed.
Stock Level	Enter the Stock Level at the point of entry - this value cannot be altered from the Store once saved.
Allocated	The number of Stock Items that have been reserved by Stock Issue requests that have not yet been fully issued.
Free Stock	Auto-populated with the current number of usable Stock.
Written Off	Available from 6.0.1.0 This field has been removed. It was a legacy Concept 500 field and has not been in use for years.

Complete the fields and click Save . Once the Stock header been completed and saved a sub navigation will appear to allow additional entities to be viewed and created.
