Stock Issues / Returns

Any stock that is issued can be recorded in the Stock Issues / Returns area of the Stores module. Any superfluous stock can also be returned to the Location from which it was issued.

Stock can be allocated to Tasks, Projects and Contracts. However, the stock is not removed from the list of available stock until it has been issued. Any stock that is issued is automatically removed from the available stock in the stock register.

The link will open the Stock Issues / Returns grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Stock Issue click New , to edit an existing Stock Issue click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Stock Issue.

Field Name	Description
Request Number	Auto generated by Concept Evolution upon save.
Date and Time	Auto populated with the date and time the Stock Issue was raised, this can be manually altered.
Contract	The Contract for the stock to be issued against - if associating the issue with a Task this will filter the available Tasks.
Task Id	From the drop down select the Task associated with the Stock Issue - The Task must be Active or Assigned and have a Cost Centre and Code associated to it.
Collected by	Enter the name of the person collecting the Stock.
Cost Centre	From the drop down select the Cost Centre for the Stock Issue - if a Task has been selected this will auto populate.
Cost Code	From the drop down select the Cost Code for the Stock Issue - if a Task has been selected this will auto populate.
Details	Free text to enter details of the Stock Issue.

Complete the fields and click Save . Once the Stock Issue header has been completed and saved a sub navigation will appear to allow additional entities to be assigned.

Once a Stock Issue header has been completed the stock items can be associated.

Modules > Stores > Stock Issues / Returns - Issue Stock

To Issue Stock click Issue Stock . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Stock Issue.

Field Name	Description
Group	From the drop down select the Stock Group.
Part Code	From the drop down select the Stores part code.
Description	Auto populated with the description of the Stock item.
Units	Auto populated with the unit value of the Stock item.
Free	Auto populated with the available amount of the Stock item.
Building	Auto populated with the Building where the Stock item is held
Current Batch Qty	Auto populated with the amount of the stock item available in the current batch (only if FIFO mode is being used).
Location	Auto populated with the Location where the Stock item is held.
Bin	Auto populated with the Bin where the Stock item is held.
Unit Price	Auto populated with the price of the Stock item.
Quantity	Enter the quantity of the stock to be taken on the Stock Issue.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close . Repeat the process until all items have been issued.

If issued Stock has not been used it can be returned to ensure Stock levels are up to date.

Modules > Stores > Stock Issues / Returns - Stock Returns

The link will open the Stock Issue / Returns grid. It is a two grid view that can be customised and sorted as normal.

The upper grid shows all Stock that has been issued, the lower grid shows all Stock that has been returned.

To return a Stock Item highlight it in the upper grid, click Return Stock for this transaction .

Field Name	Description
Part Code	Auto populated with part code of the Stock item.
Description	Auto populated with the description of the Stock item.
Quantity Still Issued	Auto calculated with the quantity of Stock still issued.
Return Quantity	Enter the quantity of Stock to return.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close . Repeat the process until all items have been returned.
