Advanced Room Selector

There are many times when a repeating meeting is required. The Advanced Room Selector allows the creation of regular bookings over weeks or months.

Modules > Facilities Booking > Advanced Room Selector

The link will open a pop up window which will allow the creation of a Facilities booking with multiple regular booking lines.

Filter Name	Description
Start Date	The Start Date for the recurring booking.
Finish Date	The Finish Date for the recurring booking - this will auto-populate the weeks field.
Weeks	The number weeks ahead the recurring booking is to cover - this will auto-populate the Finish Date.
Start Time	The start time of the recurring booking.
Duration	The Duration of the recurring booking.
Att.	The number of Attendees for the recurring booking.
Flexibility	From the drop down select if the is any flexibility on the start time of the recurring booking.
Ignore Setup and Close Times	Check the box to ignore setup and close time if the room does not require setup or closure time.
"Every" day in month	From the drop down select the day in the month for the recurring booking.
Recurring every _ weeks	From the drop down select how often (in weeks) the recurring booking should occur.
Site	From the drop down select the Site for the recurring booking.
Building	From the drop down select the Building for the recurring booking.
Location	From the drop down select the Location for the recurring booking.
Location Type	From the drop down select the Location Type for the recurring booking.
Days	Check the boxes for the day(s) that the recurring booking should be held on.
Facilities	Check the boxes for the room facility requirements

Complete the filters and click Search Rooms . The planner will then build a list of bookable rooms.

• Rooms can be selected for booking by clicking on them, selected rooms will turn yellow.
• A whole row of rooms can be selected by clicking on the corresponding row.
• Rooms with the background colour of green are available.
• Rooms with the background colour of grey are not available.
• Rooms with the background colour of orange are available according to the flexibility requirements, hovering over the room will show a pop up window detailing when the room is available.

Select the required rooms and click Select item and close form . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation of the Facilities Booking Header with the selected rooms as bookings lines in a Reserved status.
