Translation Strings

Translation Strings form the many thousands of labels from across the database. These can be altered to fit a business need.

This list of Translation Strings is maintained here.

Add database Location

The link will open the Translation Strings grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

Field Name	Description
Resource Key	Auto populated with the name of the Resource Key.
Value	Editable value for the Translation String.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .

Note: Translation Strings are grouped by either their resource group or their resource key:

Resource Group

Translation Strings can be grouped together into Resource Groups. There can be a number of grouping styles including by Page, by Entity (Asset, Task and Building) or Securable.

Resource Key

Resource Keys are sub divisions of the resource group. If a value is linked with the Tag Entity Resource Group it may be specifically linked with the Column label or Friendly name by its Resource Key.
