Locales

Locales are derived from the base operating system and are used to provide basic system information. In particular the language set and text direction are key aspects. For example, the Arabic language uses its’ own alphabet and also writes from right to left rather than the Western left to right.

System Administration > System Preferences > Locales

The link will open the Locales grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Locale click New , to edit an existing Locale click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Locale.
