Stores Preferences

Preferences can be set on the stores module to enable more accurate pricing details to be held.

If using the Standard Stores model, any price changes to stock items will cover all stock held.

If using FIFO (First in First Out) stock will be held in batches. As different costs may have been paid for a different batch, FIFO will allow this to be recorded. FIFO will issue any stock in the earliest received batch first.

A pop up window will open that will allow the Stores model to be set.

Note: FIFO can only be used in conjunction with the PO module. Once the FIFO has been turned on the system cannot revert to standard stores.
