Accounting Periods

The Accounting Preferences will automatically set up Accounting Periods for Cost Centres. The names and dates of the Accounting Periods can be edited and changed from this grid.

The list of Accounting Periods is maintained here.

Settings > Finance > Accounting Periods

The link will open the Accounting Periods grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Accounting Period click New , to edit an existing Accounting Period click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of an Accounting Period.

Field Name	Description
From	The date the Accounting Period is valid from.
To	The date the Accounting Period is valid to.
Description	The description of the Accounting Period.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
