Accounting Preferences

Accounting Preferences set up future Accounting Periods on mass to allow budgets to be set for Cost Centres.

The Accounting Preferences are maintained here.

Settings > Finance > Accounting Preferences

The link will open the Accounting Preferences Setup.

Field Name	Description
Interval	Intervals are used in conjunction with Periods to set how long an Account Period is to cover e.g. Interval - 1, Period - Monthly will set an Account period up every one month.
Period	Periods are used in conjunction with Intervals to set how long an Account Period is to cover e.g. Interval - 1, Period - Monthly will set an Account period up every one month.
Start Date	The start date for the creation of Accounting Periods.
Years in Advance	How many years in advance the Accounting periods are to be created for.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .

Concept Evolution will create Accounting Periods these can be viewed in Accounting Periods.
