Asset Status

Assets have statuses similar to Tasks in Concept Evolution. Evolution has three inbuilt system States which allow Assets to be categorised as either Active, Suspended or in History.

Assets which are in History do not show on the Asset grid automatically but can be viewed by checking a box (much the same as Tasks) on the Asset grid.

Users can create their own states such as In - Repair (suspended) and Offline (History).

To create Assets see Assets

Settings > Assets > Asset Status

The link will open the Asset Status Grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Asset Status click New , to edit and existing Asset Status click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of an Asset Status.

Field Name	Description
Name	The name of the Asset Status.
Description	The description of the Asset Status.
Asset State	From the drop down select the State of the Asset, Assets, this can be ACTIVE, SUSPENDED or HISTORY.
Default	Check the box if this is to be the default state that an Asset is created in.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
