File Types

MRI Evolution uses the standard MS Windows (T) MIME Types to enable documents to be opened seamlessly.

This list of Document File Types is maintained here.

System Administration > System Preferences > Document Management > File Types

The link will open the File Types grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new File Type click New , to edit an existing File Type click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a File Type.

Field Name	Description
Name:	The name of the File Type.
Extension:	The file name extension for the File Type
Mime Type:	The multi-purpose internet mail extension for the File Type.
Allow Upload:	Check the box to allow documents of this kind to be uploaded.
Download Behaviour	From the drop down select the download behaviour when a document is viewed.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
