Stock Group
Stock Groups allow Stock Parts to be grouped together e.g. , cement, building sand, washed gravel, hardboard may be grouped together in a Stock Group called Building Materials. This makes locating Stock items easier when issuing and returning Stock, or when carrying out Stock takes / adjustments.
The list of Stock Groups are maintained here.
Settings > Stores > Stock Groups
The link will open the Stock Groups grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.
To add a new Stock Group click New 
, to edit an existing Stock Group click Edit 
. A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Stock Group.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close
