Shifts

MRI Evolution allows Shift patterns to be defined and individual Resources to be assigned to a particular shift via Rotas.

Once a Shift is created it can then be used to create Rotas.

The list of Shifts are maintained here.

Settings > Resources >Shifts

The link will open the Shift Grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Shift click New , to edit an existing Shift click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Shift.

Field Name	Description
Code	The code of the Shift.
Description	The description of the Shift.
Start Time	The start time of the Shift.
End Time	The End or finish time of the Shift.
Hours	The number of Hours worked over the Shift span - This is auto-calculated from the difference between the Start and End Time, however it can be manually adjusted to reflect time given for breaks.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .

Note: To be able to include Rota Days off a shift must be created, leaving the Start and End Times as 00:00 will create a 0 hour Shift
