SMTP Server Settings

The SMTP Server Settings in MRI Evolution are for the forgotten password feature. These settings have to be enabled before the feature can be used.

SMTP settings will be set up by MRI Software and the system administrator.

System Administration > System Preferences > Integration > SMTP Settings

Click to view - SMTP Fields and Descriptions

Field Name	Description
Host	The Host (Server name).
Port	The Port (typically 25).
Send emails from	The email address in use to send the password resets.
SMTP server requires basic authentication	Check the box if the SMTP server requires authorisation.
Username	If authorisation is required enter the Username.
Password	If authorisation is required enter the password.
SSL	Check the box if SSL is required.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .

Note: Additional workflows will need to be set up to enable SMTP settings.
