Repositories
The Document Management functionality within MRI Evolution operates as a dedicated point of attachment and review for all documents attached to entities such as Assets, Buildings, Locations, Suppliers etc.
The MRI Evolution System Administrator can determine which entities may have Documents assigned. These Documents will be stored in a defined Repository either in the database, or outside of MRI Evolution.
To attach Documents see Document Grid and Documents
This list of Repositories is maintained here.
System Administration > System Preferences > Document Management > Repositories
The link will open the Document Repository Grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.
To add a new Document Repository click New , to edit an existing Document Repository click Edit

Click to view - Repository Fields and Descriptions
Complete the fields and click Save . Once the Repository header has been completed and saved a sub menu will appear to allow additional entities to be assigned.
These include:
- Assign Accounts
- Assign Roles
Assign Accounts

When a Document Repository is created, it must be made available to User Accounts (It is also possible to assign repositories to newly created User Accounts)
System Administration > System Preferences > Repositories - Assign Accounts
The link will open the Repositories / User Accounts Grid. It is a Grid view that can be customised and sorted as normal.
To assign User Accounts click Assign , entities in the right hand assignment window are connected.
To create User Accounts see User Accounts
Assign Roles

When a Document Repository is created, it must be made available to User Roles (It is also possible to assign repositories to newly created User Roles)

The link will open the Repositories / User Roles Grid. It is a Grid view that can be customised and sorted as normal.
To assign User Roles click Assign , entities in the right hand assignment window are connected.
