Data Connections

Data Connections are used for connection to third party databases. This would usually be set up with the system administrator and MRI Software.

System Administration > System Preferences > Environment > Data Connections

The link will open the Data Connections grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Data Connection click New , to edit an existing Data Connection click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Data Connection.

Field Name	Description
Name	The name of the Data Connection.
Provider Name	From the drop down select the Data Connection provider name.
Connection String	The connection string fro the Data Connection.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
