Quotes Authorisation Ranges and Limits

Authorisation Limits allow thresholds to be defined up to which specified Users can approve a Quote, but be forced to gain authorisation from another User if their limit has been exceeded. This system allows control over spend and costs.

Settings > Authorisation > Quotes Authorisation Ranges and Limits

The link will open the Quotes Authorisation Ranges and Limits grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Quotes Authorisation Range and Limit click New , to edit an existing Quotes Authorisation Range and Limit click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Quotes Authorisation Ranges and Limit.

Field Name	Description
Lower Operator	From the drop down select the lower limit from: Greater than - greater than the lower limit. Greater than or equal to - greater than or equal to the lower limit.
Lower Limit	The numerical lower bound of the range.
Upper Operator	From the drop down select the upper limit from: Less than - less that the upper limit. Less than or equal to - less than or equal to the upper limit. None - no upper limit.
Upper Limit	The numerical upper bound range.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .

Note: Once the ranges have been created they must be assigned to User Accounts and / or Roles .
