Asbestos Survey Types

The Asbestos Survey Types function allows users to create their own bespoke definitions of the Type of Surveys available to deal with Asbestos.

Typical Types of Asbestos Surveys:

• Management Surveys - Identify ACMs in a building and assess their condition

• Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys - Detailed surveys conducted before renovations or demolition projects to identify ACMs and assess risks

• Pre-Purchase Surveys - Help potential buyers understand the presence of asbestos in a property

• Sampling Surveys - Used for quick analysis of specific suspect materials

Settings > Asbestos > Survey Information > Asbestos Survey Types

The link will open the Asbestos Survey Types grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Asbestos Survey Type click New , to edit an existing Asset Name click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of an Asbestos Survey Type.

Field Name	Description
Survey Type Code	The unique mandatory reference code of the Asbestos Survey Type.
Survey Type	A free format field to provide a description of the Asbestos Survey Type.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
