Asbestos Surface Treatments

The Asbestos Surface Treatments function allows users to create their own bespoke definitions of their different Asbestos Surface Treatments available to deal with Asbestos.

These can be as generic or specific as to meet the requirements of the end client.

Settings > Asbestos > Survey Information > Asbestos Surface Treatments

The link will open the Asbestos Surface Treatments grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Asbestos Surface Treatment click New , to edit an existing Asset Name click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of an Asbestos Surface Treatment.

Field Name	Description
Surface Treatment	A free format field to provide an identifier of the Asbestos Surface Treatment.
Surface Treatment Description	A free format field to provide a description of the Asbestos Surface Treatment.
Material Assessment Score	Field for users to enter a numeric value that's appropriate for the Surface Treatment for the Asbestos - a low score equates to a lower risk. The value will be fed into an algorithm used to provide a score for asbestos Priority Assessments.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
